Destroyed from within: Local (Part 1)

Guest Commentary by Anonymous

In the United States we typically view Faith Based Organizations as groups that spread the word of God and guide people to repent so their souls may have eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. We may rightfully view these groups as serving the community by volunteering to feed the hungry, clothe the poor and witness to those in jail.

However, in some instances that is no longer their only mission if their mission at all. The disease of progressivism has not only infected our government and universities, but also some of our churches. Progressives want to progress beyond the Constitution and Declaration of Independence because these divinely inspired documents enshrine the concept of Individual God Given Rights granted to us by Our Creator and serves as a roadblock to their delusional visions of Heaven on Earth ruled by man.  The Word of God clearly tells us that no man is without sin and the only perfected man to roam the earth was Jesus.

Our Founders also knew men were not angels. James Madison said “If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. “ Federalist Papers # 51 tells us this is why we have a system of checks and balances because men are not angels. In addition, we have all heard the very true statement “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

The history of progressivism in the United States has demonstrated that power indeed corrupts. Progressive President Woodrow Wilson during WWI suppressed anti -war protests and rounded up Germans living in the United States and sent them to Internment Camps.  In WWII America’s second progressive President Franklin D Roosevelt actually rounded up American citizens of Japanese decent and sent them to internment camps.  And even today we only have to look two hours north to Chicago a city ran by progressives to witness the destruction of society.  In 2012 Chicago the den or headquarters of progressivism had over 500 homicides and a school system in shambles.  The tragedy and failure of progressivism in Chicago has made it Hell on Earth for many of the impoverished residents.

The end game result for Progressives is a slow moving revolution resulting in a perfected society or “Utopia” where an All Powerful Creator that grants us our rights is replaced with an All Powerful government that rules and determines every aspect of our lives while redistributing wealth and picking winners and losers in the name of social justice.  It is a society where the rights of the individual are destroyed in favor of the rights of the collective which would be a complete repudiation of the Bill of Rights.

National Peoples Action is a radical, progressive Chicago based Alinskyite group dedicated to progressive social change and economic justice. National Peoples Action is also the parent of our own local Illinois People’s Action.  Alinskyite organizations are inspired by the tactics of infiltration and confrontation developed by Chicago native and leftist Saul Alinsky.  Much of Alinsky’s strategy is outlined in his book “Rules for Radicals,” which on the opening page states: “Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history… the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

Saul Alinsky was not fond of Christianity. In a 1972 Playboy interview the following exchange occurred:
ALINSKY: … if there is an afterlife, and I have anything to say about it, I will unreservedly choose to go to hell.
PLAYBOY: Why?
ALINSKY: Hell would be heaven for me. All my life I’ve been with the have-nots. Over here, if you’re a have-not, you’re short of dough. If you’re a have-not in hell, you’re short of virtue. Once I get into hell, I’ll start organizing the have-nots over there.
PLAYBOY: Why them?
ALINSKY: They’re my kind of people.

Discover the Networks a website developed by Dr. David Horowitz to diagram the ever growing entangled web of progressivism gives the following analysis on Alinsky’s model:

In the Alinsky model, “organizing” is a euphemism for “revolution” — a wholesale revolution whose ultimate objective is the systematic acquisition of power by a purportedly oppressed segment of the population, and the radical transformation of America’s social and economic structure.  The goal is to foment enough public discontent, moral confusion, and outright chaos to spark the social upheaval that Marx, Engels, and Lenin predicted — a revolution whose foot soldiers view the status quo as fatally flawed and wholly unworthy of salvation. Thus, the theory goes, the people will settle for nothing less than that status quo’s complete collapse — to be followed by the erection of an entirely new system upon its ruins.  Toward that end, they will be apt to follow the lead of charismatic radical organizers who project an aura of confidence and vision, and who profess to clearly understand what types of societal “changes” are needed.

  1. Frankly, I do not understand who could believe in Progressivism which totally destroys “truth” and “logic” for a socialistic utopia. Of course anyone that knows history should know that a “socialistic utopia” is a complete oxymoron because socialism ALWAYS is a total nightmare that paves the way to the total controlling of it’s people with the guise of provisions and protections that is actually dependency and enslavement by Fascism and Communism. Let US not forget this quote,
“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.” – Josef Stalin
