Today the Pantagraph gave “Cheers” to somebody in Oklahoma who discovered so many problems with fraud in a county it led to an investigation by the Attorney General. The piece led up to this quote: “Government employees, the public and the press have an inherent duty to keep an eye on the workings of government at all levels.”
Just wondering Pantagraph: Are you including Alderwoman Judy Stearns and BlnNews.com in the cheers?
IMO, you are doing us all a valuable public service by keeping a watchful eye on government operatives. Keep up the good work. There are lots of people who skwack and cry when you report on their actions. But as we know as soon as you let your guard down, next thing you know, you are on the hook for a coliseum and performing arts center.
