Mayor Renner frequently calls Bloomington a growing city.  In this email he finally admits State Farm isn’t growing in Bloomington.  The subject is the $30,000 study for a hotel in downtown Bloomington.  I’m sure he was shocked when the study didn’t justify it, unless a lot of your tax dollars paid for part of it.

  1. The last two hotels in downtown Bloomington became homes for transients and crack heads. Duh, maybe the history should tell you something if we had a historian that wasn’t agenda motivated by his socialistic brother. Then there is the farce about Route 66 tourism. Really? Lets change the Main Street into a strip mall for college students fill with apartments that were never there before and then stand around scratching heads trying to figure out why no tourists. No, they’ll do a study for another $100k. Stupid is as stupid does.

  2. Tari could of paid me half of that amount to study for a hotel in downtown Bloomington and I would of gave him the same answer………………………..NO! 😛
