Jim has been very involved in the community, serving in several leadership positions with Illinois State University, Holy Trinity Church and Schools, Central Catholic High School, the McLean County Economic Development Council, the Bloomington/Normal Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Community Health Care Clinic, and currently as a volunteer in the Emergency Department at OSF St. Joseph’s Hospital. His personal interests include running, playing golf and travel.

Now suppose this was Judy Stearns or Kevin Lower instead of Jim Fruin.  Think the Pantagraph would be demanding Fruin’s head?  Think the Council wouldn’t have already called a special meeting to throw the offender off the Council?  Joni Painter even wants to change her vote – that’s it Joni?
