CHECK TOTAL 5,952.00

When Renner or Hales utter something off the wall (like suburbs and strip malls are dead), this post shows where the info came from.

Instead of cities, counties, and states being laboratories for effective public policy – these conferences and memberships want compliance with whatever they deem “best practices”.  Decisions on the direction of local government is no longer made locally.  Elections matter, so do the people who run for office.

  1. Going to national conferences to be schooled on national control. Top down control. To be schooled on deceitful practices and how to get away with it. (But then someday when it bursts, these people will disavow knowing you.) There is no honor among thieves.

  2. I hate buzz words…mumbo-jumbo…double-speak. Tell it like it is. I don’t want to hear the babble.

  3. Who are all these people eating lunch for professional development and business discussions? Fazzini is no longer on the Council.

  4. Oh, I just have to laugh “Professional development” lol lol I remember back in my not so enlightened days working for non-profits – “Professional development” seminars/meetings were nothing but a total joke and those times they paid for “consultants” (big bucks mind you) to some in and educate us and “enrich” us were some of the most worthless hours ever spent. The food was usually pretty good though….These people, and this council and this town government (and their side-kicks and toadies) are nearly ALL jokes though. I have also always wondered why if they are soooooo smart, they always need well paid “consultants” to come in and tell them what to do.
