Council members and Mayor pay their own registration fees of $1550.00 per person for One Voice?
Not sure, but the EDC might pay for it. Of course, that’s taxpayer money they got from government.
City contributes $$ to BN-EDC.
$168 Rosatis LIGHT meal for CC? A Large pizza costs roughly $20 that’s 8 pizzas for a SNACK? Do these people REALLY eat that much? As their thinking SURE don’t show it, where do they eat when they CHOW DOWN-the Big Texan? At least then it’d be FREE!
They forget to say the staff are the ones doing a lot of the chowing. Leftovers walk out the door with them.
Rosatis, another chain, more money going to corporate, so much for buy local.
A bit off topic–there are no supporting documents for Mr. Hales presentation of the FT17 Proposed Budget in the Meeting Packet for Monday’s meeting.
If city council members are not full time, and this is a part time deal, why don’t they eat dinner at home BEFORE the CC meetings? Why do they continue to nickel & dime the taxpayers? Has anyone researched whether or not this is legal?
I have GOT to get a cushy job like these guys have so I can spend over a hundred bucks for a “light lunch”!
