When the NCAA finals are set, could you tell us who is going to win it? Seeing as you haven’t been right about a SINGLE thing since you’ve started posting here, I thought I could lay out some action on the OTHER team and really clean up.
While I’m glad there is someone with another point of view posting, I really wish Tom had something to say of substance. I enjoy talking with people who think different than I do and can intelligently articulate why they believe what they do.
Tom, I do wonder if you have ever been on Medicaid? Being a foster parent, our foster children are on Medicaid, so I have experience with it. It’s definitely much worse than dealing with private insurance companies. Also, it is difficult to find a doctor that will take it, and the waits are long when you do find one.
I suspect that doctors take Medicaid out of a desire to do good. I doubt they make enough money to justify the work it takes to get paid. Any doctors out there that can comment?
Medical practices are highly specialized, private small businesses. Medicaid/Medicare payments cover less than half the cost of the service. There reaches a point where revenue doesn’t meet expenses. In some cases doctors don’t take new Medicaid/Medicare patients. Sometimes the doctor just shutters the practice.
Having recently retired and having to get insurance through ACA i have one question for u Tom. My monthly payment is 100 dollars, the government is paying 568 dollars for my coverage. So my question to you is how in the hell is the government going to be able to afford this for millions of people for very long????
