Prosecution? You decide

By:  Diane Benjamin

This FOIA request was filed by a citizen:

foia1USCC = US Cellular Coliseum

Note:  Denied in full

Now see the reason the City of Bloomington used to deny the request:

foia2

Law enforcement doesn’t mean “court case”.  So, what is the City saying?

Note:  The request was for information from 2014 and 2015.  This wasn’t for recent information.

Are they saying CIAM is under criminal investigation?

Don’t forget, Tari Renner and David Hales were negotiating an extension to their management contract when CIAM dumped them.

  1. “No comment for on-going investigation.” Investigation sometimes leads to charges but not always. The City leaders is protecting themselves from too much information being leaked to the public. Municipal elections are just around the corner.

  2. Is this just another tactic to deny foias? How do they prove “reasonably contemplated”? How do citizens challenge it?
