Medical Update

4/17/2017

The medical emergency was my husband.  I’m assuming you read my note from last week: https://blnnews.com/2017/04/15/readers-2/

Andy had an extremely serious neurological event last Friday.  A very long recovery is in his future, his condition has barely begun to improve.

Since there is very little I can do for him right now, I will gradually start writing again.  I’ve got a laptop computer I can take to his hospital room and write from there.  This adventure has been a roller coaster.  Please continue the prayers – he needs every one he can get.

Many thanks to all the people who have reached out and the great medical staff taking care of my husband.

On a lighter note,

what is the fine for having a campaign sign still up 2 weeks after an election AND on City property?  I’ve driven by it everyday since Friday, today I stopped for a picture.  Tomorrow I might take it home for target practice.  (I haven’t lost my sense of humor!)

  1. Thanks for the update. I have been and will continue to pray for a full and complete recovery. My prayers to you and your family also.

  2. Sorry for your husband’s problem. I’ll keep praying; please tell him to keep recovering. Best wishes to all of your family.

  3. Diane, so sorry to read about Andy A .prayer was said for him and the family during the Easter Service at Our Redeemer. Let us know how he is doing as you have time. Eunice and Jack

  4. Diane, Sorry to hear about Andy. I will include him in my prayers. Also is there a Normal town council person that you feel is conservative? The Normal council tonight is trying to push thru 2 over-priced no bid items on the consent agenda. Since that is first on the agenda, the public comment period is too late to stop the vote even if you do get approved to speak.

  5. My thoughts are with you and ALL the best for your husband.
There is MORE then ONE Renner sign lurking about town. But I’m thinking a 50mm howitzer would take care of THAT business with dispatch, it’s just that the owners would have to “RE-INVENT” their yard then.

  6. Best wishes and God speed to you and your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. On a lighter note: I see Renner signs all over Bloomington still. Aren’t they supposed to be down after a couple of days according to ordinance? Oh wait, Renner makes the rules so the king can keep them up as long as he wants!

    1. kinda like lower putting his signs all over private property? I won’t pray for you because that is just stupid as hell but i wish that you get better soon!

  7. Diane, ours prayers are with you and your family. We appreciate so much all that you do. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you and your family.
