  1. Diane, you have a wonderful Easter day. Thanks again for all the hard work you put forth to keep the public well informed.

  2. Wait. A dead guy became undead and then floated up to clouds to live with the bearded sky monster (his abusive father) who sent him to his death? Next you’re going to tell me that this guy walked on water before he died. LOL. Totally believable.

      1. He’d rather believe in the somehow spontaneously materialized huge churning mass that exploded and made all the oceans and plants and animals and stuff – never once questioning from whence came that big swirling mass and somehow things as delicate as the wings of a butterfly that can carry it thousands of miles also evolved out of that huge mass. Let him believe what he wants, but it’s sad he hasn’t questioned further than what “hard science” will tell him.

    1. Actually Rich, according to the Apostles Creed he descended into hell before he rose. He went there to get us. Jesus transcends space and time, expand your mind…maybe the scales will fall from your eyes. I usually laugh at your comments, but this one just makes me feel sorry for you.

  3. What is disturbing about Rich is his smug and overbearing snottiness, and need to “crap in the punchbowl”, so typical of Liberals. This post is about Christians extending an Easter greeting to each other. Really could care less what he believes (or doesn’t), but his compulsion to insert himself in the conversation in such a condescending and spiteful manner speaks volumes about his character and basis lack of what we used to call “breeding”.

  4. Read this one from a 15 year old.
    Lord’s Prayer
    By a 15-year-old school kid who got an A+ for this entry !
    The Lord’s Prayer is not allowed in most U.S. Public schools any more.
    A kid in Minnesota wrote the following NEW School Prayer:-
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now I sit me down in school
    Where praying is against the rule
    For this great nation under God
    Finds mention of Him very odd
    If scripture now the class recites,
    It violates the Bill of Rights.
    And anytime my head I bow
    Becomes a Federal matter now
    Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
    That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
    The law is specific, the law is precise.
    Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice
    For praying in a public hall
    Might offend someone with no faith at all.
    In silence alone we must meditate,
    God’s name is prohibited by the State.
    We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
    And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
    They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
    To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
    We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
    And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
    It’s ‘inappropriate’ to teach right from wrong.
    We’re taught that such ‘judgments’ do not belong.
    We can get our condoms and birth controls,
    Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
    But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
    No word of God must reach this crowd.
    It’s scary here I must confess,
    When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
    So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
    Should I be shot; My soul please take!
    Amen
