Here is a thought experiment for everyone… If you crossed the border into Canada, or Mexico or France or Japan or China or Russia and the authorities (the government) found out that you were there without a passport or visa or citizenship….what would you expect to have happen to you?
Entry into a country without their permission is considered invasion. The individuals are invaders.
For the sake of clarification, immigrants arrive in a country with the intention of staying. Some on a temporary basis for work or education. Those who wish to stay permanently usually, but not always, apply for citizenship or have to renew their visa. Letting a visa lapse puts one into the illegal category.
Haha! Slight correction…there’s no industry in Normal unless you count government, the higher education industrial complex, and that battery, er, I mean…automative company on the edge of town.
Yes that battery plant is going to within a few months start production on the first ever electric pickup truck. Which will be an industry first (even the big truck makers haven’t made an electric pickup truck yet). I know… details details… maybe someday we will see the battery… I mean truck design?
