Climate Change Scam

Sorry, reading the wrong month

By:  Diane Benjamin

Yes, it’s been really hot!  Media thought we might break a record yesterday.  What was the record yesterday?  94 degrees

What the media often fails to tell you is what year that record was set.  Instead they spew Global Warming or Climate Change unsubstantiated statements and demand you pay for green energy to save the planet!  They even claim scientists all agree, they don’t – just the ones getting paid to believe it.

So, what year was that 91 degree temperature on May 28th recorded – according to the National Weather Service?  (As in Weather.gov)

.

2006

.

Look at the whole month of May.  1934 must have been horrible.  How many temperature records, both high and low were set many decades ago?  Peoria is the closest city with available data.

Very few records were set recently!

If you need more proof, research the houses and private jets the biggest Climate Change pushers live in.

You will find saving the planet doesn’t apply to their lives – just yours.

Someday history will prove all these wind turbines and solar panels were a big scam perpetrated to get your money (tax incentives).

Facts matter, media fails to use them.

April and June are available on the same link.  June shows one record and two ties were set in 1988.  One was set in 1987.  The majority of the rest were set pre-air conditioning and pre SUV’s.

Still believe government doesn’t lie?  Still believe media doesn’t just repeat what they are told?

  1. That is an incomplete view of the available data. The record high is only one data point, and only represents a month’s peak temperature, not a month’s average temperature. NOAA’s data clearly shows that we’re experiencing some of the warmest years on average–which is absolutely possible without breaking peak temperature records.

      1. The National Weather Service, which runs weather.gov, is PART of NOAA, which you’re saying is paid to push climate change…

      2. If I deposit $100 in my bank account on the 28th of May, but only $80 most of the other days, I’m going to have less money than if I deposit $81 every day of May and never hit $100 on a single donation. The data the two sites is showing are the same–you’re just only looking at the high and not the average. What they’re saying is that there are more days that are warmer, not that single days are hitting record high temperatures. The damage done by climate change is when persistent high temperatures set in and disrupt weather cycles, warm the oceans, and impact the ecosphere. It’s really not that difficult to understand.

You can also see in the chart that you posted that the Warmest Low column (meaning that it didn’t get colder than that temperature on that day) DOES have many more dates within the last fifty years, which further illustrates my point.

      3. Iron is only a TINY part of our bodies (much, much less than the percentage of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere), and yet we couldn’t live without it. Carbon Dioxide blocks infrared light, but oxygen, nitrogen, and water vapor don’t. Science doesn’t need you to believe in it for it to be true.

      4. And to be quite clear: you just jumped from arguing that the planet isn’t, in fact, getting warmer because you couldn’t keep arguing with the data you had, to arguing that carbon dioxide isn’t causing that warming. It’s dishonest and misleading.

  2. I really like this blog. You made me laugh about the global warming, records and 1894.

  3. Sunrises in west, I suppose, too. Don’t let pesky science and facts get in the way of a good story. BTW, 97% of climate scientists agree that the earth’s climate is changing and getting warmer. But sure, I’ll believe YOU instead of the scientists. LOL.

    1. Not all scientists agree on the cause of climate change. The science is complicated and beyond the comprehension of most pundits and politicians.

      1. Yes, change is part of the constant evolution process of species and climate conditions. It is not within our control anymore than economic development is.

  4. Its called WEATHER! Here is corrupted ILLINOIS we have summer! Summer in ILLINOIS is hot! In Winter its cold and to try to paint it as something different is just BS!

  5. @ Crimson,,,courtesy of two other posters, same subject. Your continued defense of hucksters trying to scam more taxes from people merely shows that you’ve done too many shots of the liberal kool-aid. It’s really not that difficult to understand.

Carbon dioxide is what we exhale when we breathe so the government is pushing for a Breathing Tax (while the CEO of Neslte proclaims that there is no human right for water.)

Also, plants—the food source of all—requires carbon-dioxide to survive and bear fruit.
There are other gases in the atmosphere such as methane which have a longer half-life. The science is complicated and beyond the comprehension of politicians.

  6. One of the best things I have read on “Climate Change” scientists is “These are people who often can not even accurately predict the WEATHER a day or two in advance in the same place they actually live, but we are to take as gospel truth what they say may/will happen all over the world in 30-40 years?”

  7. OH but the world IS round, that’s a for sure and the sun does rise in the east and sets in the west, and the world IS far more than a few thousand years old, and dinosaur bones and fossils are NOT fakes, just in case any of the “smart people” want to say I think otherwise.

  8. Climate has always changed. The Grand Canyon was once an ocean. Can you imagine what climate extremists would have been saying/screaming/doing if they were around when the Grand Canyon started drying up? Or when the glaciers melted away from the Midwest?

  9. This is ALL entertaining. My father USED to speak of 1936 being a VERY HOT summer, which it was, and the farmers plowed with horses at night with lanterns, so the horses didn’t keel over.

Secondly let’s look at COMMON sense for a minute. IF you heat up the planet, then you raise the average temperatures, which WILL cause the atmosphere to produce MORE clouds, thereby making MORE rain and shading the place and cooling it off. BUT, don’t take my word for it. Read the article by Carl Sagan , et, al. in Scientific American from the 80’s about a “Nuclear WInter” and see WHAT the top INTELLIGENT scientists have to say about it. It’s ALL very logical, which the media and public seems to lack these days..
Bottom line, the EARTH WILL take care of itself, just ask your local T-Rex…

  10. Back in the 70’s , liberals fought against Global Cooling so well, it created Global Warming! Democrats, please stop messing with the environment, you’re gonna kill us all !
