  1. The run link above is from 2012. Here is the current link:
    https://www.childrenshomeandaid.org/event/taking-steps-to-end-child-abuse-5k-color-run-1-mile-walk/

The annual race is in memory of young Jack and Duncan Leichtenberg of LeRoy, victims of the 2009 murder-suicide by their father after he failed to return them to their mother from a visit.

Please join us on Saturday, April 27th for our 9th annual run/walk to help change lives. All proceeds from the race go to the Family Visitation Center, (https://www.childrenshomeandaid.org/pareting/family-visitation-center/) the only one of its kind in the McLean County region. The center provides a safe, neutral, child-friendly environment for supervised visitation and exchanges for families where there is an active order of protection in place.
