Is Bloomington still meeting tonight?

If the City Code doesn’t apply to the City, it doesn’t apply to you either.

Right?

If they do meet tonight, here’s what’s on the agenda:

  1.  The City has already budgeted $100,489.40 for repairs to Oneil Pool.  Tonight they are adding $24,900 for sidewalk repairs around the pool.  This will make sure the pool will be open next summer.
  2. The State Grant for a monkey exhibit at Miller Park Zoo has been restored, the new exhibit will be built next to the flamingos.  Since the state is paying, it will be free.
  3. $21,300 is being spent to plan for replacing the Lake Bloomington building destroyed by fire.
    lb costlb schedule
  4. The Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer Master Plan passed in 2014 called for spending $3,250,000 a year, only $2,000,000 was budgeted for sewer and manhole lining.  Since bids came in 29% higher than previous years, 2 projects have been differed to to future years ($400,000) and $92,547 will be added for a total of $2,492,547 spent this year,
  5. Eric’s Too might get permission for outdoor liquor sales (beer garden).  It was originally before the Liquor Commission in July.  The minutes from the Liquor Commission meetings show contention with resolution being closing it at 10:00 weekdays, 11:00 on weekends.  Extending the time can be reviewed in the spring.

The only Regular Agenda item is:

Presentation of the Illinois Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ILEAP) to the
Police Department, as requested by the Police Department.

  1. Eric’s Two should not get a extended liquor license. He does not pay his suppliers. He does not pay his employees. He has consistently lied to the COB regarding liquor versus food sales
He lied when he first acquired Eric’s two. He was never the manager after the prior tenants vacated. He assumed their business and ran it as such until the health department and the city found out about the ruse
He is not trustworthy in any sense of the meaning
