The article eventually got to Karyn Smith who also spoke about not having time to research who Koos’ Connect Transit Board appointee is.

Does “recommending” mean nobody can ask questions? Koos is entitled to absolute authority and can’t be questioned? Obey bobble-heads?
What is the point of voting Chris? Why don’t you just change the Code so only you are responsible for appointments – without “consent”?
That solution would allow citizens to know who to blame. Connect Transit’s failure to serve the people who are forced to ride the bus because of their economic or physical circumstances would be completely YOUR fault. Dropping vets 100 yards away from the VA door would also totally be your fault since the huge buses can’t enter parking lots. Same goes for people with hospital or doctors appointments. It would be completely your fault granny can’t easily get to a door!

Citizens in Normal, until Monday night, had no advance notice of who is being appointed. Monday they had 5 minutes. Citizens to Ensure Fair Transit had zero notice.

I bet Koos would be posting on Facebook Trump is a tyrant if he expected the Senate to act like bobble-heads approving his appointees.
“Stan” as in Afghanistan means “land of the Afghans” as so on with the “other” stans in that part of the world. So, I guess Koos don’t like
“koosistan”!

Mayor Koos like SO many Democrats across the country are just one revolution away (Are you listening BLM and Antifa?) from being tin pot communist dictators. They REALLY want total control because THEY know what is best for you. The end game is communism. Think about that the next time you think it is a good idea to not vote. By not making a choice you are choosing communists like Koos who could care less about what you think or what you want. Vote all of the communist democrats out! Our towns and our nation are depending on you.
