The State of Illinois passed police reforms to make us less safe and coddle criminals.
Monday night Jenn wants the Bloomington Council to do the same – make sure you read the fine print:

Estimated cost is ZERO? Who is paying staff for the more than 10 hours Jenn? What else isn’t getting done because you want illegals legalized?
Obviously Jenn Carrillo isn’t interested in the essential functions of government. She’s a progressive! She can’t be bothered with mundane things like fixing roads, keeping taxes low, or letting people earn a living without Renner fining them for failure to kneel.
I’m surprised Jeff Crabill didn’t sign it with her! I bet both show up Monday night. unlike last Monday.

How many posts does this make for a single Bloomington Council person? Again it seems that Ms Carrillo is living rent free in your collective heads.
Perhaps you could go back to your baseless charges that the 2020 election was stolen. Or your allegations without a single shred of evidence that support the obviously delusional, paranoid conspiracy that Antifa was behind the Capital riots. That”s what seems to pass as “news” on this blog.

If the council doesn’t question this statement they aren’t doing their jobs. To base a “therefore” of ANY kind of statement like this is absurd at best, manipulative, divisive and dangerous at worst.
A few questions I have –
1. “some of our residents live in fear of deportation” – Which, how many and why? Specifically why? Spit it out, we need to talk about it. We need to think about any and all who fear deportation.
2. “collaboration, actual or perceived. “WHAT, perceived? This leaves the door open for a great many manipulative things. I’m a criminal and I perceive that the police are after me. And so…. what?
3. collaboration…. “can create distrust in our community” – How does that work. SPECIFICALLY.
The result of this statement does not reduce distrust, it creates distrust in our community. Who is here, why are they here, why are they being hidden from law enforcement, what have they done, what might they do, why can’t immigration agencies talk to them, why do we have to change the way police act around them and not other people, did they come here to get away from someone or something…..?
4. “jeopardizes the safety of all residents” – This is ridiculous to just say and leave hanging. How does this work? This must be explained. Unbelievable! Is this a threat!
Overall, if you can blurt gibberish like this out without detailed explanation, base an ordinance on it and get away with it, you can get away with anything my friend. Someone who tries to pull something like this doesn’t belong in government.
Furthermore, Why does Jenn use the weasel words “actual or perceived ” and “can create” in the premise for her call to handcuff law enforcement?
Here’s why. Because ALL of this is a figment of her manipulative, leftist imagination. She is being completely dishonest AND she knows it. She also takes everyone else as fools apparently.
With these weasel words she doesn’t even have to prove what she’s saying. The statement that they might exist or some people may feel like they exist is not a valid reason to collar the city council and demand that they revamp our policing policies.
Sorry, the more I think about what she’s trying to do and how she’s trying to do it, the angrier I get. Leftists must be made to answer for their rhetoric! They can go around fomenting anger and fear in our community if they want because they have free speech, but they must be challenged on it. Stand up to their bullying.
If our representative don’t see through this they don’t deserve to hold office either.
Imagine thinking you’re serving your community by concentrating more on people who shouldn’t legally be here instead of fixing the roads that tens of thousands of people want you to fix.

#1- if you were a legal immigrant you wouldn’t have to be afraid of law enforcement. #2- instead of trying to change this community to fit your communist agenda, why don’t you resign Jenn Carillo? #3 – this community has steadily gone downhill since the 70s, 80s and early 90s. #4 – I’m not going to stay in this state of Ill-annoy too many more years.
You ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait until the weather breaks this spring and summer and the local DSA and NAACP offices seek the local Khmer Rouge on your neighborhoods. Biden’s election means it is open season on the white man. They will up the ante compared to last summer and actually come up on your lawn and begin beating on your door and attempt property damage. They know nothing will happen even if they get arrested because they will get kicked loose within hours. Just reading daily news accounts of what Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff and the Squad has planned is all you have to know that it will quickly descend to individual states and towns at a rapid rate. You won’t recognize the country you are living in by mid-summer.
In the words of Dennis Prager – “The left says – Give us power and we’ll give you things, you’ll loose your rights but so what.”
