This morning Glenn Beck stated on his radio show the National Archives now has a warning label on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Not being one to believe everything I hear, I checked it out. Both documents have warning labels!

I find it interesting that they don’t specifically mention what they deem offensive. The link just directs you to a page with random description of things that are found in the archives that may be offensive to some. The link seems to a pinned link and not just on the founding documents. Ms. Benjamin I love your work, but I must point out an error. The Lincoln quote is not correct. It is actually the sentiment of the quote reworded. Oddly, I just looked into this quote earlier today. Here is the actual quote that was reworded, “If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” Keep up the good work!!!
