A message for schools still masking kids:

FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY NOT LEGAL ADVICE

A new friend asked what she should say to her board.  If I still had kids in school, and they still required masks, this is what I’d say.

————————————————————————

While the restraining order can only presently be enforced against school districts named as defendants in the case, as to the students named as plaintiffs, the judge ruled as a general matter that school districts must provide due process of law to students before mandating mask or exclusion policies.  Her ruling puts all school districts, and their staff, on notice as to the illegality of their policies.  Any school district continuing to enforce these illegal policies after her ruling are exposing their district, board members, administrators, and teachers to potential significant financial risk. Civil rights claims for knowingly violating constitutionally protected rights would possibly not be covered by the schools insurance policy leaving the district, board members, administrators and teachers personal assets exposed.  Knowingly violating due process rights is a serious issue.  This is why almost 300 districts in the state have switched to fully mask optional policies and abandoned vaccination/testing policies on their own volition.  Their lawyers assuredly advised them of these risks.  It’s possible you may be continuing with these illegal policies in hopes that the appellate court disagrees with the trial court, but that is a serious gamble, because if you are wrong, I am putting you on notice right now that the district as well as every board member, administrator, and teacher involved, is going to be sued by me for civil rights violations against my children.

Besides Unit 5 and District 87 forcing masks, Bloom Community School in Normal is forcing kids to wear masks outside. They haven’t gotten the message yet.

  1. Bloom Community School is one thing. It’s a private school and I really don’t care what they do. Their woke ideology is not for me or for my family and I choose not to send my kids there. If they want to wear masks from now until kingdom come, fine. Quite frankly, I’m relieved they’re keeping it out of the public sector.

Our public schools, however, are another matter. As a unit 5 parent, I’m fed up. Amy Rouser, board president, asked the other night how we can heal as a community. We will heal as a community, state and nation, when people like her are brought to account for the damage they’ve done to our children. Yes, Rene Grischow, it is evil. We must never forget. Amy, you, Kristin and your board and JB Pritzker will be brought to account for all of this.

  2. Well unfortunately you are right about bloom. While your child does not go there, a little one I love does. I can’t legally fight for the child, or I’d expose the level of abuse last year. It sounds as if you may be familiar with them from your comment. I feel every child matter in the process. I’m not a biological mom of any of them, but I can fight like hell to prove it’s been wrong all along.

    1. I’m sorry for what you’re experiencing with your loved one at Bloom Community School. I’ve had a similar experience with a child I know who also goes there.

On the other hand, if parents insist that children be a social experiment, then this is where it needs to occur. This is where things like CRT, Mandatory masks, Standard based grading need to occur. Unfortunately, all of that is being pushed down our throats at Unit 5. What we’re talking about is the need for local control.

  3. The Ruling is quite clear, yet the so called “attorney” named Curt will contort themselves into a pretzel to tell us otherwise. They think we don’t know any better and aren’t smart enough to know the truth. They’ve been given their orders that Unit 5 will remain masked, and they are determined to please the powers that be, the children be damned. Unit 5, District 87 and other Schools that will not unmask our children are waiting. They’re waiting to announce that students can attend school mask free ONLY AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN VACCINATED. That’s right. That’s why they’re waiting. They will insist that one is contingent upon the other. That’s how evil they are. Amy “smug” Roser, Kristin “mom of 6” Weikle, Alan “leftist plant” Kalitzky, & the others (not including Jeremy Dehaai) have been installed to do the bidding of the Teacher’s Unions and JB Pritzker. They are most assuredly NOT there to do what’s best for the students. Further proof is the disgusting curriculum and indoctrination.

  4. Bloom (or any other) being a private school does not give them a pass on child abuse. It’s ironic they claim the name of Bloom.

  5. One more thing….

If I can speak into the situation with KJ Sniff, an autistic senior football player from Normal West who refused to wear a mask and is now being deprived recognition at Senior Night. It’s also my understanding he’s been suspended from school for not wearing a mask.

Discipline at Normal West is assigned to a principal alphabetically. With the last name Sniff, the principal handling his case (P-Z) is Sylvester Davis, a black man. First, off if KJ is autistic, he should have an IEP and if masking is a problem as it obviously is for KJ, it should have been incorporated into his IEP and special accommodations should have been made for him. Big failure on the part of Normal West right there. But, if that’s not enough, if this were a white principal doing this to a black kid, we’d here no end of it from the BLM and the rest of the woke crowd in Bloomington / Normal.

Sounds to me like KJ’s parents need to make a call to Tom Devore and sue the pants off of Unit 5.

  6. Unit 5 made it quite clear Wednesday night that they’re scared of the legal ramifications of all of this. If Unit 5’s decisions are made of the basis of trying to avoid a law suit, then it’s obviously time they get sued. Maybe, just maybe Mr. Eades got their attention Wednesday night. Wouldn’t count on it, though. The way Unit 5 operates Amy Rouser probably views him as a domestic terrorist. Kristin too.

  7. Unfortunately, several attorneys in this community are choosing to remain quiet. That doesn’t stop us from the ability to seek council elsewhere. Devore has friends. Several are stepping up. Hold on to the truth and the law that we know to be true despite being told otherwise. No person place or thing hold power over me. Keep fighting.

    1. BN legal eagles are members in good standing in the Elitist Clique. Standing up for what is right might risk their spot in the BCC interclub golf championship in the summer. Perceived local societal status rules the day.

  8. Thanks for providing the light on this situation Diane.

My son attends Bloom Community School. I’ve continually emailed the school informing them that I do not want my son masked, especially outdoors.

The mother served on the school board, she informed the school board at Bloom Community School that I didn’t have any educational decisions in regards to my son.

The school responded to my emails in an unethical and unprofessional way and basically told me to kick rocks.

I’ve informed the school that I am going to file a law suit not only against the school but the teachers, faulty and staff.

Gary Weilbacher and Rachel Lapp Whitt are the schools board president and Vice President. Both of those democratic clowns think that they have more say over my sons life and my sons health then I do.

I am going to continue to diligently expose this evil and neglect
