The McLean County Regional Planning Commission launched a new survey you MUST take.
Those who believe government solves every problem will be taking this survey. If you believe in limited government, your thoughts need to be included too. The intro says it will take 15-20 minutes, it will take that long only is you read REALLY slow.
This survey is for long range transportation planning. Of course Connect Transit is included, fixing the roads is also there along with lots of miscellaneous that will be normalized if limited government people fail to participate.
This survey is available in English, French, and Spanish. What does that tell you about who MCRPC wants to hear from?

In the past MCRPC has been responsible for bike trails, pushing the East Side Bypass, and obtaining grants for other projects in Bloomington, Normal, and the County.

Glad you brought up the East Side Highway. I imagine this is still in the plan along with other “pipe dreams.” It’s sad that people don’t understand how important it is to speak out against projects like this when given opportunities. Thanks for sounding the alarm. Hopefully some will respond.
