Bunch of updates

Update to your electric bills skyrocketing: https://blnnews.com/2022/04/27/expect-painful-bills/

The Ecology Action Center put out more than Bloomington did about the increase: https://ecologyactioncenter.org/aggregation2022/

The shortened version is government shut down coal fired power plants with no way to replace the electricity they generated and what is replaced is more expensive. Government declared war on the poor and middle class, of course Climate Change can’t be debated or proved so you aren’t supposed to blame them.

The McLean County Health Department finally updated their site yesterday: https://health.mcleancountyil.gov/708/CORONAVIRUS-COVID-19

Cases are increasing, hospitalizations aren’t, and one additional death was added. How many isolating have symptoms? We don’t have that number.

Chris McGraw might be leaving Unit 5 because he’s fed up with what they are teaching. Will he have to sign a non-disclosure agreement like Normal makes some of their ex-employees sign?

If that is why and I hope he has the courage to expose them. Most people don’t.

  1. Normal makes select staff sign non-disparagement agreements. This is different than a non-disclosure agreement. Pam Reece doesn’t want anyone saying anything negative about the town or whistleblowing on wrongdoing they witnessed.

Stan Nord – The ONLY council member who has condemned Pam Reece’s use of non-disparagement. agreements.

  2. “Renewable energy” is a crock. We are shutting down power plants all over the state and replacing them with wind and solar farms. These wind farms are showing up everywhere. It is gobbling up the landscape at a frightening pace. All this is paid for with PUBLIC taxpayer dollars. Who are the big winners here? Local taxing bodies and a small handful of landowners who flee to Florida once they get their big “windfall” from these projects. Who are the big losers? The unconnected everyday homeowner or property owner who sees their power and heating bills double overnight as well as nationwide high property taxes that never stop increasing. The next shoe to drop is when there will not be enough power on a hot day and we will suffer rolling “blackouts” to ration the power once the power grid is overwhelmed. Will your AC be allowed to stay on or will we once again need to be in the “connected” minority for that to happen? All this and I thought that Democrats were for the “little” guy!

  3. I think it’s time for some forward thinking to protect the noticiable impact on the threat to the human race as an endangered species.
