US Conference of Mayors:
Investment in the future OR throwing away money by charging what you can’t afford?
Any guesses on what they want to buy?
Whatever it is history says they will overpay for it.
My bet the property is something unneed but the Mayor thinks is a higher priority than restoring CLEAN water to the Hovey and Richland area. I also predict one of the mayor’s friends will benefit from the purchase.
I highly doubt the town will be reimbursed by Idol. The showrunners probably present it as publicity for the town I’m sure! Many people who attended the concert didn’t get to see her. Horrible place to have it but it did show well. I thought the Corn Crib would be a better location.
