    1. It’s all a government subsidized scam using off the shelf freeware designs that Elan Musk abandoned and gave away free to the world years ago. Literally put together without any engineering expertise or problem solving skills, original thinking or quality control. Just to soak up as much “instant” cash as possible before ditching the company. Five years. Then they either fold, sell, or maybe someone else with balls, brains and cash steps in and takes over.

    2. It’s what happens when you have owners, staff and people on your line that have never been involved in vehicle manufacturing. It’s laughable and tragic at the same time.

  1. Unless these vehicles are kept in garages, warm, and in perfect conditions they will fail. Fail to function and fail to meet environmental standards.

Just making one Lithium battery created more pollution/carbon and causes more emissions/carbon then it will save or reduce when compared to a standard combustion engine.

Imagine three days without your vehicle just due to “cold” weather. What is the replacement? Another electric vehicle or an internal combustion vehicle? Wealthy, city, suburban, urban populations may enjoy these vehicles. But what about those in more remote locations? Like Southern Illinois? North/South Dakota, Iowa, Virginia, Minnesota, Michigan, Kansas, Montana, etc?

    1. Chad: Ownership and management are climate crusaders first and vehicle manufacturers last. This is why Koos and his staff of greenies went after this company in the.first place and did little to no.due diligence on them. It does little to no.good if you have an engineering degree from MIT if you have not actually engineered or put together a car or truck. RJ’s talent is that of top BS artist.

      1. Yup… not one hard question was EVER asked – I had dozens of questions – Koos and company lapped up whatever Clark Kent said like they were starving wolves. Clark Kent will of course leave as a millionaire while 6000 of our residents will be laid off from their high-paid jobs. No one wanted to listen to me and others who sounded the alarm about these amateurs. Now it’s going to be a disaster for our area.

        1. A majority of the jobs are were/not high paid. Another lie. Many started in the $18 an hour range as advertised. But again, a good wage for zero experience in the industry.

  2. Sounds like Rivian is in line for some heavy employee accident lawsuits (major )

Bring in the young employees to show “progress”.

Rivian is not all it seems.
