By: Diane Benjamin Let’s call the weeds prairie grass. Of course this is in the middle of Hershey road. I hope the seeds weren’t expensive. I could have given them seeds for free from the garden. Yes, they are now even taller than the last pics.
By: Diane Benjamin Remember this mowing fail from July 20th? https://blnnews.com/2022/07/20/5-things-you-need-to-know-5/ The next day it was cleaned up: (Thanks to the same reader who sent the above) The pictures below are from a different reader. These are a little north of the ones above. The reader claims this hasn’t been touched in months. Normal put […]
By: Diane Benjamin Anybody think Normal’s underpass won’t flood? Will the structure be affected? Can trains safely be on top of it while standing water attacks the supports? Normal is going to build it anyway, they are way smarter than citizens. Ha, Ha, Ha. Koos and company want to make you pay for their vision. […]
By: Diane Benjamin I had a little time before going to the District 87 Board meeting, so I walked around downtown Bloomington. The bugler from Leroy Axillary Unit 79 was superb. Flags have been at half staff for quite awhile, nobody remembers why. It may have started under […]

The sidewalk is ADA compliant though!
By: Diane Benjamin Looks like the business owners do, the City not so much. Do citizens have to take care of the streets and sidewalks too? Does this mean Giebelhausen can’t find an investor? Cabelas Bargain Cave
