What really happened at ISU?

By:  Diane Benjamin Think back.  Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are vying for the Democrat nomination for president.  The Illinois primary election was held on March 15, 2016. The Town of Normal has 30 precincts.  The entire County picked Hillary Clinton, 26 of Normal’s 30 locations picked Bernie Sanders.

Nikita really doesn’t want the job!

By:  Diane Benjamin From Nikita’s website:  https://richardsmcclerk.com/issues/ Read through the whole website, it’s obvious who was a contributing copy writer! Who claimed the Clerk shouldn’t be counting their own votes?  (Like they do) Tari Renner!   One of Nikita’s goals – in her own words – is to take elections away from the County Clerk and create […]

Press Conference – Kathy Michael

Email from Kathy Michael to the press: In light of recent false comments in the article below, and numerous other past disturbing and now deliberate false statements regarding our election process in McLean County by Ms. Nikita Richards, I can no longer stand by and remain silent. The election process in McLean County is being […]

Huffington Post does Nikita!

By:  Diane Benjamin See the story here:  Democrats Local Candidates – Cheri Bustos Some stories have too many lies to ignore.  This is one of them. Excerpts: A public relations consultant?  Why does the City of Bloomington call her an Employment Coordinator?  The truth is too embarrassing?  State Officials (Democrats of course) are supporting her?  I […]

Just so you know the Team:

By:  Diane Benjamin It was nice of most the progressives to pose for a pic together.  Progressives think government is the answer to every problems.  Personal responsibility isn’t required when government can create the future, they just need a ton more money to make it perfect.  Nikita Richards announced on Cities 92.9 that she plans […]

Part 3 – Nikita Richards

By:  Diane Benjamin The Bloomington City Code has a section on ethics for employees, it is patterned after the State Ethics Act:   http://www.cityblm.org/government/codes-ordinances/city-code Excerpt: To find out what activities are prohibited, see the State Ethics law:     http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs/ilcs5.asp?ActID=2529&ChapterID=2 This is the definition of Prohibited Political Activities from that link: There is more, but that’s enough […]

Part 2: Nikita Richards

By:  Diane Benjamin See Part 1 here:   https://blnnews.com/2018/08/24/please-explain-why-nikita-richards-has-a-job/ See Part 3 here:  https://blnnews.com/2018/08/30/part-3-nikita-richards/ If Nikita is still employed at the City of Bloomington after obviously accessing political websites from a City computer, maybe the new City Manager can explain why.  Tim Gleason?  After reading the information below, he REALLY needs to explain why she is still […]

Please explain why Nikita Richards has a job!

By:  Diane Benjamin Part 1 See Part 2 here:   https://blnnews.com/2018/08/30/part-2-nikita-richards/ See Part 3 here:  https://blnnews.com/2018/08/30/part-3-nikita-richards/ This was the job Nikita used to have, maybe still does: Nikita’s LinkedIn page shows NDR and Running for McLean County Clerk, but doesn’t mention she works for the City of Bloomington:   There is a description of what NDR Communications does […]

Campaigning at the Pride Event

By:  Diane Benjamin The first annual Pride event turned into a campaign stop.  Featured speakers were:  Tari Renner, Jenn Carrillo, Shayna Watchinski, Nikita Richards, and Julie Blair. This is the best the Democrat Party has to offer? Obviously Renner has Trump Derangement Syndrome.  He sported his sash from the gay pride parade he and Chris Koos […]

Chicago Politics is now local

By:  Diane Benjamin Mclean County used to be insulated from the nonsense going on in the rest of Illinois.  The only reason was State Farm.  Those days are long gone thanks to the exodus of State Farm and big spending Chris Koos and Tari Renner.  Both are Mike Madigan wanna-be’s who think you aren’t entitled […]

Update: Facts matter Nikita

By:  Diane Benjamin The Supreme Court did rule yesterday on Ohio’s procedures for keeping the voting roles clean.  Purging non-active voters is essential to fair elections.  Some counties in Illinois and some states have more people on the voting roles than citizens.  McLean County isn’t one of them. That didn’t stop Nikita Richards from putting […]

Race Baiting Nikita Richards

By:  Diane Benjamin This post appeared today on Nikita Richard’s personal Facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/nikita.richards.9 Facts matter Nikita.  You need some. Yes the victims in the first few bombing were black.  The victims of the trip wire bomb were both white.  The latest bomb was in a FedEx facility.  How is that targeting prominent Black families? […]

Early Voting is SLOW – Yippy!

By:  Diane Benjamin I’m hearing early voting numbers are very low.  That’s a good thing!  There is LOTS of campaigning yet to do, voters need facts first.  The actual election isn’t until March 20th! Thanks to Bruce Rauner’s endless mailings filled with lies, Jeanne Ives now has name recognition across the state.  I can’t believe […]

Nikita wanted a Democrat disenfranchised!

By:  Diane Benjamin If early voting had been started on February 8th, a Democrat running for Attorney General could have been disenfranchised.  Scott Drury won in court and will be on the ballot. How many early voters would not have voted for him because he might be kicked off the ballot?  How many people have […]

BHS needs a WHITE Student Union

No More Comments Will Be Approved On This Story   By:  Diane Benjamin Nikita Richards wants to be the next McLean County Clerk, She evidently wants to divide people.  See the post below from her personal Facebook page. How did BHS ever survive until 2018 without a Black Student Union? Why stop there?  Short people […]

Nikita: Seriously?

By:  Diane Benjamin This picture was taken from Nikita’s Facebook page. Nikita must not know Illinois Law requires County Clerks to clean the voter rolls! Claiming that “cleaning” dramatically impacts low-income and people of color implies these people aren’t intelligent enough to vote.  Not voting in six years means NOT voting in at up to […]

Illegal or just unethical?

By:  Diane Benjamin The event below is being held tonight on public property. The Normal Township website says nothing about having a room to rent:    http://www.normaltownship.org/index.php Since a couple of politicians are using a room, according to an email I received, you too can reserve it.  Just make it open to the public and not-for-profit […]
