Questionable views of history abound on the History Channel, so don’t plan on getting accurate history!

Sunday night – 2 hour special on Ronald Reagan stated: “His reelection was bolstered by an improving economy made possible by his tax increases”.

After peeling myself off a wall, I researched:

And Reagan’s 1982 tax increase followed an even more massive tax cut the previous year, which had overshot the mark. Taken together, Reagan’s 1981 tax cut and 1982 tax increase still netted out to a very substantial reduction in taxes.

Why can’t anybody just state facts?  Don’t believe anything on the History Channel, they are counting on you not catching the lies.
