House GOP Votes to APPROVE Obamacare

Rep Adam Kinzinger was interviewed this morning on Cities 92.9.  He parroted Boehner’s comments.  What does the GOP stand for?  Why should they keep control of the House when they won’t cut spending and de-fund ObamaCare?  Why haven’t they demanded a budget in 4 years?  Why did they re-elect Boehner as Speaker when he obviously isn’t standing up for the country?  Why do they act like scared infants instead of acting in the best interests of the country?  Shut down government to force a budget or discussion?  Only when snow is predicted!

It’s like what the good witch says at the end of the Wizard of Oz “You’ve always had the power to go back to Kansas.” Well Mr. Speaker you have always had the power to kill Obamacare. But today Speaker Boehner and most of the House Republican Caucus have demonstrated they never really wanted to kill this freedom stealing budget buster.

Its nice that the GOP keeps passing bills to repeal Obamacare, but Senate Democrats will not pass such a bill and the president will never sign it.   According to the Constitution it is the House that controls spending, if Boehner really wanted to kill Obamacare he could refuse to fund it.  Today the house passed a resolution that will guarantee the funding of Obamacare and except for ten brave souls, every Republican Congressman Voted to Approve Obamacare Today,  and they broke their own rules to do it.

The House Republican leaders today will rush through a vote on a 269-page $982-billion continuing resolution (CR) to fund the federal government for the remainder of fiscal 2013 in direct violation of a pledge they made to the American people to post bills online for at least 72 hours before voting on them.

The vote funded Obamacare and took place less than two days after the bill was placed on line.

That is a little less than 47 hours after they posted it online for review by members and the public.

The Congressman who voted against the bill include

  • Amash
  • Bridenstine
  • Broun
  • Gohmert
  • Huelskamp
  • Jones
  • Massie
  • Pearce
  • Salmon
  • Yoho
  • Brooks
  • Fleming
  • Gingrey
  • Kingston
  • McClintock
  • Rohrabacher

Make no mistake about it, each and every member of the house not on the list above voted for Obamacare just the same as if they voted in the affirmative two years ago.

If your representative is not on the list give them a call and ask why they support Obamacare.
