NEXT Saturday

Do you stand for life?

Dear Friend of Life,

The Epiphany Parish Sanctity of Life Committee is organizing a second local protest of Planned Parenthood, Saturday, October 10, 2015, 9-11 a.m., on the public sidewalk near Planned Parenthood of East Central Illinois in Bloomington (at the SE corner of Veterans Parkway and Clearwater Ave.)

You were among about 300 local citizens who participated in the first protest on August 22.  THANK YOU for your witness to the dignity of human life.  Nationwide more than 78,000 people in 340 cities were involved in protests coordinated by ProtestPP that day.  ProtestPP.com is a consortium of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Created Equal,  the Pro-Life Action League, and many other pro-life organizations.

The purpose of the events is to protest the barbaric and illegal practices of Planned Parenthood (PP), to support a thorough investigation of the organization, and to call for a withdrawal of taxpayer funding of PP.

PP performs around 330,000 abortions per year or 32% of U.S. abortions which means PP is the largest abortion provider in the nation.   Recently,  the Center for Medical Progress released undercover videos indicating that PP is also profiting from the sale of body parts of aborted babies. Many Americans have been shocked and disturbed by these revelations and by the cavalier attitude of PP personnel toward the remains of aborted babies.

We invite you to participate a local peaceful and prayerful protest on October 10, and please invite your pro-life friends to come, too.  Public parking is available on Holiday Dr. alongside Veterans Parkway.  The event will be at the same location; on the public sidewalk next to Veterans Parkway and beside the building in which PP is located.   We will have a limited number of signs available so feel free to make your own signs with the messages:  Planned Parenthood Sells Baby Body Parts or End Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood.  Contact Amy Christensen at [email protected] if you have questions.  We hope to see you again on the sidewalk for the cause of life!

Sincerely yours,

Amy Christensen

    1. In concept, possibly. In reality, not so much unless you support the barbarianism of dissecting unborn babies. Although your beliefs are your choice, quite possibly you also choose a sick mind.

      1. You can’t defund something based on cinematic engineering. Carly Fiorina got duped by a hoax video too. I am pro-life but I wouldn’t dare use those videos as my proof. Two state investigations (Massachusetts and Indiana) have been done and no evidence of wrongdoing was found (regarding the sale of tissue). Indiana is as religious as they come. It would take an overturn of Roe v. Wade to defund Planned Parenthood. In the meantime, the only proof that was needed before was the Bible. How about using that then manufacturing dubious claims?

  1. This whole thing is a prime example of media going overboard with a cleverly edited video/propoganda. Move on, nothing to see here.
