On August 20, 2008 – Simon Wilson sold the following parcels to One Main Development for $1,412,500:
- 14-28-435-013 114-122 E Beaufort
- 14-28-435-027 North of -013 to College
- 14-28-435-014 North of -013 to College
- 14-28-435-030 North of -013 to College
- 14-28-435,-029 North of -013 to College
On August 13, 2008 (before One Main owned the property) the Town of Normal bought the properties other than -013 from One Main Development for $500,000
That means One Main Development has $912,500 invested in 114-122 Beaufort.
On July 14, 2011 One Main Development, according to the documents filed with the McLean County Recorder’s Office, sold the property back to Simon Wilson for $335,000. That’s a loss to Main One of $577,500.
Mr Wilson, also according to the Recorder’s Website, took out a mortgage of $350,000 – $15,000 more than the purchase price.
Was One Main Development a BIG loser? Maybe the documents filed with the Recorder aren’t correct.
