The head of the Illinois GOP was interviewed on Champaign radio today discussing various area races. He FAILS to mention a game changing race in Champaign/Danville – John Bambenek who is running for Illinois Senate against a Democrat who currently holds the seat, Mike Frerichs. Frerichs has never met a tax hike he didn’t like. The GOP is only 6 seats away from controlling the Illinois Senate, electing John Bambenek is one of the contested seats that will help the GOP do just that. PAT BRADY had FREE advertising for John and FAILED to take advantage of it. Why?
Christine Radogno – the do nothing, happy to be minority leader in the Senate, would be OUT as leader of the GOP in the Senate. John is extremely informed on the issues, unafraid to voice his opinion, and would not be going to Springfield to fill a seat and collect a salary. JOHN is not the guy the #ILGOP wants in Springfield. They are very happy being in the minority because they don’t have to do anything controversial to save Illinois. In fact, the #ILGOP is satisfied to do absolutely nothing.
If John Bambenek wins in November – the Illinois Senate will change even if the Republicans do not take control. OUR kids and Illinois deserve better, and John is set to deliver the change we need – not just keep a seat warm.
Pat Brady: Resign, Disappear, Take a Leave of Absence, or just quit working for the #ILGOP. We all deserve better!

Brady does not care. period. He has his cush bite of the cake and relishes his role as mouthpiece that is not obligated to actually govern or solve problems. Brady hangs out at the fundraisers and goes to the parties and gives less then a damn about the future of Illinois.
