I pledge allegiance to the flag . . . with Liberty and justice for all.
A lot of churches, especially Catholic, preach Social Justice. Find that in the Bible and I might buy it. It’s not there.
Now the United States Post Office has jumped on the socialism/communism bandwagon! How else is Equality achieved? Take from the rich and give it to the poor. True equality! Everybody is equally miserable, except the people at the top who exempt themselves!
It’s been tried, millions died. China, Soviet Union, go learn some history!
Today I pulled out some stamps, I rarely mail anything. I love flag stamps, but I hadn’t ever noticed these:
Freedom, good. Liberty good. EQUALITY?
I will be returning these to the Post Office!
Stand up, we are losing our country folks.

I guess it’s hard to find the truth anymore, looking straight into your eyes with a straight face and lie to you, doesn’t guilt bother them ?
I think it’s a declaration of victory. Most people don’t seem to care.
I happened on this old post while checking out some stamps I bought a few years ago, and believe that your conclusion is self-serving and warped.
I think the American ideal of Equality is a fundamental part of our heritage. It goes back to the phrase in the Declaration of Independence which states that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” That’s not communism or socialism.
Equal opportunity – definitely! Equal outcome – un-American! When government takes the labor of some to make others more equal, that’s not pursuit of happiness.
