There has never been anything like TruthRevolt before and the people who about to feel its slings and arrows ought to be afraid… very afraid.

WaPo Plays Up GOP Approval Drop, Buries Dem Numbers
Covering a new Washington Post/ABC News poll regarding fallout from the government shutdown, Scott Clement and Peyton M. Craighill reported this headline: “Republican disapproval grows in budget battle, Post-ABC poll finds.” The authors led with this statistic: “Disapproval of congressional Republicans’ budget wrangling after a weeklong shutdown has shot up to 70 percent, with 51 percent disapproving ‘strongly,’ according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.” That Republican number represents a 7% increase.
But that same poll shows that Democratic disapproval rose from 56% to 61%, a 5% increase. The headline made no mention of the Democratic drop. Buried deep in the third paragraph is the note that “Fully 61 percent of Americans now disapprove of congressional Democrats (up from 56 percent last week), with strong disapproval rising nine points (to 45 percent).” And that note is followed by further analysis of the Republicans’ rotten numbers.
