Illinois: Creating more poor people

Where is the recovery we are supposedly in?  Maybe somebody is lying!  Food stamp use should be down by now.  Recoveries NEVER take 5 years, and obviously we still aren’t recovered.

  1. “Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government
take care of him, better take a closer look at the American Indian.” — Henry Ford

  2. This quote from Benjamin Franklin in 1766 and should be framed and hung in every government office that serves citizens with programs or handouts:
“I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. In my youth I traveled much, and I observed in different countries, that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”

  3. We don’t have to look beyond Mclean County to see the true facts, of “creating more poor” the way we are going everyone will be bankrupt by 2030 !!
