Tari is a tiny little man

By:  Diane Benjamin

Each speaker at public comment is given three minutes. Time allotted is a total of 15 minutes. Previously if more than five citizens signed to speak the rules were suspended. Not tonight!

Karen Schmidt has always supported suspending the rules.  Crickets from her tonight as Renner skipped asking for a motion.  Kevin Lower didn’t jump in either.

Obviously  freedom of speech and freedom of the press are both dead now.  Tari has so ruled.

All bow before his highness!

No apology from Renner or Hauman for their behavior at the last meeting.  The meeting was over in less than an hour.   Trying to start a war Tari?

By the way Tari, are you unemployed?

  1. Rules certainly should have been suspended considering there wasn’t much on the agenda to begin with.
Also it didn’t help that the stack seemed too coincidentally uh… stacked

  2. Then let’s give hell. Be rude back. When Ald. Pointer wanted a cupcake, I merely pointed out in the chat window that she didn’t NEED a cupcake. Now, I don’t one either, but I don’t WANT one. SO, the Nazi who monitors the chat window, gave me a stern warning for being RUDE and it was my Second WARNING. I remember being chastised some months back, but would you believe it, they have it written down. So, I asked if it applied to the Mayor and the Aldermen and Alderwomen too as they have a real habit of being rude to either someone or a group of people at every meeting. The Nazi said yes, why yes it did. (Cough Cough) I will continue to exercise my right to be rude to these bozos until they start treating others with respect. Yep, I’m going to calling out from the sidelines like Don Rickles and Sheckie Green. It’s my little form of civil disobedience. I’m not interrupting the meeting and no one’s complaining except for the Nazi. Even if someone was complaining, they can go ahead and argue, or turn the chat feature off. Turn me off Chat Nazi, since you represent the government, then maybe we can see if there is a 1st Amendment Violation here. Until then, Tari, bite me. 🙂

      1. Hoover, up yours pal. I don’t recall needing your permission. I do what I want, when I want. Got it? If you have a problem with that, come see me.

  3. Let me add this, there is a time and a place for “Tit for Tat”. Renner, Black, Hauman, Pointer, and Karen Schmidt show their contempt at every meeting. I want to make it really clear I don’t represent anyone but ME, and I am beholding to no one. I could careless what you think, if you don’t like what I say or do, and before you start telling me or anyone what to do here, man-up and use your REAL NAME. You have a lot of nerve boy.

      1. However if Brexton Isaacs would have come in late,,,all could have spoke. The only transparency that exists at city hall is that you can see right through the mayors BS. In more ways than one the over all mood of this mayor and council is disgraceful!

  4. 1st paragraph of Renner’s Washington Post profile:

“Tari Renner was born in Miami Beach, Fla., and resides in Bloomington, Ill. He was raised in a single-parent household and was on Aid for Families with Dependent Children when he was young.”

    Google it.

Does anybody else find this revealing, but very, VERY odd? Of course, Obama seemed very proud that his Mommy got Foodstamps, also. Remember that interview?
