The Dateline report was a puff piece. It dealt mostly with family members and the children. There was very little information on the trial, no interviews with jurors. So – no – we didn’t learn a thing.

Maybe we can get the facts the local media coverage left out.
I sure hope so. Clearly justice was not served.
We flew with Keith Morrison from BloNo to Chicago when we headed to Maine. Will indeed be interesting to see if he has new insights! Yvonne

Don’t expect much. These shows are meant to titillate and not inform. Someone or something will be made to look like an idiot, guilt or innocence will be left up to the viewer to decide and someone in the piece will be presented as the conscience of the community that will be a reporter that covered the trial. Steve Vogel will likely be interviewed as a forensics expert and announce he is writing a book about the trial with most of it being lifted from court documents without affirmation.
I am not surprised it was announced Edith Brady-Lunny was leaving the Pantagraph. Whether it was actually her choice or not, the Pantagraph has an opportunity to get someone who comes across more neutral in his/her reporting.
Not a real surprise. With high school graduation and those veterans of school newspapers available. Corporate realized they could get the same talent or better at half the cost of Bunny Lunny. She was the queen of rip and write from the wire or whatever other source should could steal. Her idea of investigation was finding out the price of gas today. It is disappointing that part of Monday’s story no doubt will be based or what she may have said.
I’m sure the Pantagraph can find someone from the Renner campaign crew or establishment inner circle to pen some press releases for mayor tippytoes.
A bit off subject, but lack of “Bloomington Brillance” fits in many places. Rong Again Renner (missing W is fitting) after his claim that millenials were the target generation for economic activity, see the link: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-06-12/corporations-realize-once-coveted-millennials-are-screwed-generation
I wonder if someday Renner will wake up and realize what a tool he is. Naaahhhhh! LOL!
Too bad it is not the “Good Ole Days” when they could just send the most likely suspect off to prison like Alan Beaman!!!! That darn proof of guilt just keeps getting in the way.
