Now, you’re slightly older than me and should have had the intellectual sophistication to see that Archie Bunker and George Jefferson were not the heroes of their respective series. They were the fools. America laughed at their bigotry and prejudice and you were like, “These guys are cool!” So, don’t act all shocked when your fellow citizens don’t share your values. The truth is, you have difficulty understanding some pretty basic stuff and that is the key to how you find yourself out of step with others.
Anyhow, I’ll take your advice and attend an Easter service tomorrow. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
