Bloomington advertises a Demon

By: Diane Benjamin

Is the City this desperate to get people downtown? I bet the City won’t be advertising any religious Christian activities – even if they are downtown.

On Facebook:

Per Google search – they did the highlighting:

See the irony in Krampus originating in Germany?

  1. dumb kid “artists” creating so called logos and making money

glorifying evil and satan for marketing BN and businesses

    Not surprised

wacks run county and Bloomington-Normal and all related to each other

  2. WTF. There’s your sign. Load it up with the rest of Grimms fairy tales and you have assembled a city council. It’s time to acknowledge what Christmas is about. We set aside special time, a day and a season around this day. It’s a big deal yes it is. The love and joy that grows from it is astonishing. For the faithful, we prepare and to honor Christ. We choose to display religious symbols at this time that celebrate his birth and to remember his great sacrifice for us. Of course this part is not allowed on public grounds even though we are the public. This offensive garbage is ok? Should we expect to disgrace other faiths as well or will that be disallowed? Focus on the positive traditions that all lead back to the reason we have Christmas at all. Another reason to say goodbye to Illinois and the idiots in government.

  3. The mayor has a defined term – until 2025, but Is it too late to return that guy called the City Manager to Decatur? Because we would like a full refund of our money! Bloomington City Manager – Tim Gleason just gave himself a raise of our tax dollars, so he can take home $220,000 to do this in our town. Good grief!!

  4. Bloomington….an BLUE town in an intensely BLUE state. Tis rather disparaging to the otherwise beautiful color blue!
I wonder if the damage to our town, our state, and our country by the insane progressive leftist democrats can be undone. What will it take?

  5. It is refreshing to have left for a warmer climate but an even greater surprise was to find a deeply religious community that clebrates Christmas as a rememberance of the birth of Jesus!

  6. Seen the headline thought it had something to do with Renner videos of him bullying women at at city council meetings.

  7. Oh my goodness…..EVIL is taking over everything….and everywhere. Lived and worked in Woodford Co. for over 30 yrs. Had, and raised my 3 children there. Always drove to Bloomington-Normal to shop, go to doctor appointments, go to movies, etc. Back then, it WAS a great place. Had not yet turned “Blue”. What I continue reading about B-N makes me “s-i-c-k”, but…..evil acts have now even invaded our august U.S. Senate Chamber… and for the last 3+ years ‘our’ White House and executive agencies! G_D help us!!!

  8. It’s official: BLOOMINGTON has gone to the devil! Promoting krampus should be a violation of church and state! Wonder how much the taxpayer is paying for this? Where are the local churches on this? The silence is deafening! One thing about this is the city has finally shown its true self!

  9. I must of lived under a rock for the past 55 years of my life. My family on my moms side came to Peoria from Germany in the early 1900s. I celebrated Christmas and attended family reunions with them for years and I never ever heard a story of a krampus or even an image.
The first time I ever heard of a Krampus was just a few years ago when Hollywood released a demonic Christmas movie about Krampus. And now people try to act like Krampus is atraditional part of Christmas that Germans brought to our shores years ago and is no different than Santa Claus. I call Bullshit.
It may be part of traditions in some areas of other countries but not here in America. i suspect a effort years ago may have occurred but the American people were much more religious and moral and probably rejected it altogether.
I went to the Satanic Temple wesbsite. They love Krampus and sell lots of krampus merchandise on their site for gifts. I also found Krampus celebrations sponsored by the Satanic Temple in American cities.
An occult website said Krampus is a demon god and son of satan who will eat kids and take them to the underworld. This doesnt sound anything like Santa Claus to me. I must be honest after reading that I thought of Jeffrey Epstein and many politicans and Hollywood actors who have visited Epstein Island. I suspect Epstein knew all about Krampus.
