Flying around I think I overheard Bloomington police were directed to arrest more white people. Arresting criminals without regard to color is so old fashioned!
Is anyone surprised since a lawsuit against the City mentions a directive to ticket more white people?

If this directive is going around a good defense attorney can use this to persuade a jury his or client was targeted.
In addition, this is not equal justice. This a clear example of social justice and why it is not compatible with US Constitution.

The only way this is going to turn around is for folks to attend city council and county board meetings and watch these politicians in action. Who else do you know, but the General public who employs these elected officials and let them do whatever they want, to the DETRIMENT of the taxpaying public. It’s not the crooked politicians fault. It’s our fault. We hold the reigns. But apparently we are too busy to watch those we employ. Gees, most meetings are on public access. But few have figured it out that they must stand up and speak out. I mean come on, how hard is it yo send your council members an email voicing your approval or disapproval of what they are doing.

Speaking at city council meetings is like speaking to a brick wall. They don’t care. They have their mind made up before the pledge of allegiance is said. I have send council members emails and have never had one reply.

I looked up Bloomington Police Chief – Simington
And found he has 2023 Goals listed on the City of Bloomington website. I did not see where his 2024 or 2025 goals were stated.
Here is one of those 2023 Goals =
“Reduce crime and the fear of crime throughout the city, but especially in areas with a high density of crime. BPD will provide better technology and tools to assist our staff and communities in this effort.”

I have been predicting this for some time the police will be given chips 10 black and 90 white once the black chips are gone used one for each black arrest the police will not be able to arrest another black person until all the white chips are used up arresting white people.

At its foundation DEI and critical race ideology assume racism/bias is the cause for all statistical disparities of outcomes without any evidence of actual causation. This leads to ineffective remedies that fail to address the actual complex factors of crime.

I know from growing up there (a small town really close to B/N) what the Sundown ordinance means but thought BOBBYWERKS3 internet reference curious so I too checked out Wikipedia. interestingly California, Illinois, Indiana and Kansas have some of the most towns listed! DUROC you are correct the civil war was originally not about ending slavery even though Lincoln did not like slavery his goal was to keep the country intact although some politicians wanted to have the free states just separate from the slave states at the same time one issue on Lincoln’s mind as well as other politicians was to stop the spread of slavery to other states.
Overall the good news is that the north prevailed and one of the positive results was that slavery was abolished.
But that by no way means that racism was stopped one would like to think that no one person would have hatred for another but unfortunately that will never happen my gosh there are people that hate Jews there are those that hate Americans regardless of color there those that still don’t care for blacks but at least we live in a country that has worked hard to stop wide spread racism and pass laws to protect those of color but unfortunately we will always have those around us that are filled with hatred sad but true

I contacted the Bloomington Police Department. None of what you wrote is true, and you have no proof of supposed racial profiling by the Department. The Police Department is aware of your lies. The Blooming Police Department stated that they do not arrest people based on their race.
