This was common sense. It still does nothing to rescue people being trafficked. The ordinance, including changes, took 25 pages to write.

On the Consent Agenda are two labor agreements for local 362. One covers inspectors and the other support staff, The details are close to the same for both.

2 weeks vacation on the day you are hired! 3 weeks after one year! Typical? I haven’t had a boss for decades but it wasn’t when I did.

  1. Yes, yes, 4 weeks! Must be nice. A lot of those jobs are cush. Seriously makes me want to hurl how my tax dollars are spent.

  2. I don’t think government employees deserve the gold of PTO benefits off the backs of tax payers. Nope. No way. Bunch of holidays off. Four weeks after 5 years! Give me a break.
