The McLean County yearly audit is 3 months late.
There is a way to recoup whatever money the County is being forced to pay an accounting firm because 1 employee didn’t do her job.
This way will also remove the responsible person forever.
The only question is: Will they do it?
Did anyone ever figure out why all the assessments and “equalizer” tax increases happened? Not seen or heard. Trust the system and process, data and workers/projects and governance is generally all we are told ..(and don’t ask questions). Lol. Just curious
The glorious State of Illinois is deciding what Counties are under-assessed and forcing the increases.
