I would be surprised if they lost money on John Cleese. I was actually more surprised they booked him. I figured he would be too risque.
They made money even with tickets costing close to $100
If it had been in a private venue, I would have tried to go. I love Monty Python. But I just didn’t want to give Bloomington any extra money.
