Toward Sustainability: Vision 2020
Throughout 2012, our sister publication ECOHOME has hosted Vision 2020, a program designed “to map a clear path toward sustainability in residential construction between now and 2020.”
Relying on the expertise and insight of 10 nationally known researchers, practitioners, and advocates, the program produced more than 150 articles in 10 subject areas ranging from building science, water efficiency, and indoor air quality to product performance, energy codes and rating systems, sustainable communities, and more.
The program’s first year culminated in September with 10 live presentations, one by each of the subject-matter “chairs.” All were recorded, TED-style, and are now available for viewing online atecohomemagazine.com.
