Mike Dunafon on Role of Government and Small Business

Who is Mike Dunafon?

Mike Dunafon’s refreshing new voice will resonate with millions of Americans fed-up with politics as usual. Imagine a world that is libertarian, secular, fiscally conservative, big-family, small-government, and decidedly pro-business. Imagine an America where Liberty defines all of our choices.

A Colorado native, Mayor Dunafon has been a major player in initiating and shepherding the extraordinary 14-year transformation of the small City of Glendale into an entertainment capitol and internationally-known city.

This transformation began when Dunafon first chaired the Strategic Planning Initiative in 1998. The Glendale citizens clearly sent a strong message: they wanted a new identity — a more vibrant Glendale.

Co-founding the first Glendale Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Dunafon launched a full-time effort to collaboratively unite the residences and businesses of the City into a single vision.

Mayor Dunafon was instrumental in establishing a community-wide newspaper, “The Glendale News,” which subsequently became “The Glendale/Cherry Creek Chronicle,” currently mailed to 85,000 homes and businesses in the area.

With the Mayor’s guidance, Glendale became the first city in the United States to adopt rugby as the sole and official sport of the city, and today Glendale is known as “Rugbytown USA.”

Dunafon has a B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado, where he lettered for four years and was part of the All-Conference team. He signed contracts to play with the Denver Broncos in 1976 and 1977. His rugby career began in 1978 with the British Virgin Islands RFC and continued until 1992. He has a USA Rugby Level 3 coaching certification.

Maybe he gives lessons for the currently elected!  Find out more: http://mikedunafon.com/

    WAIT!!! * * * DANGER, DANGER * * * TIME OUT!!!
Sorry but several key terms here send up a real BIG red flag.
    1) transformation,,,isn’t that what Obama is doing?
    2) chaired the first Strategic Planning Initiative,,,OMG!
    3) citizens clearly sent a strong message,,,says who???
    4) a new identity,,,uh, like Koos EV city?
    5) a more vibrant,,,as in uppity town Normal or downtown plan.
    6) co-founding the first city Chamber of Commerce,,,(lapdog for big business)
    7) to collaboratively unite the residences and businesses,,,how is that?
    8) into a single vision,,,nothing new here. Same terminology of Agenda 21 abound.
    * Too much, too much,,,this guy appears to be the same old, same old. SO what else is happening in Glendale? The only impression that this man makes on me is that quite possibly he is another official that either doesn’t understand or couldn’t care less about his oath of office. Agenda 21 does not support the US Constitution. Nope, nada, doesn’t work. Does he own a rubgy shop?

  2. And if he does give lessons to current elected officials then in this case they are the wrong lessons for the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! Subscribing to Agenda 21 protocol is about as anti-liberty, anti-America as one can get!

      1. Willing to keep an open mind I went to the website. Dunafon gives a decent speech on liberty and imo deserves more consideration, however the narrative of the article presented here paints a picture of Agenda 21 terminology all day long. Depending upon who wrote the article (author not identified, uh, web staff?) due to the terminology as I’ve noted I would suggest that one keeps eyes wide open.

  3. “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” – Thomas Jefferson
