Maybe this is why the BCPA loses money

Tomorrow night you can attend a show with Wayne Brady for the low low price of $54-$85 a ticket.  For the math impaired, that $108 a couple to $170 a couple.  Hopefully the $108 isn’t in the balcony where you have to be very short or be able to imitate a canned sardine.

Then on Sunday you can go see Spank! The Fifty Shades of Parody, billed as a raucous “girls’-night-out” event.  This show is a bargain at only $39.50.

Meanwhile, The Illinois State University School of Theatre and Dance has an upcoming show that costs $12 for adults, $10 for students/seniors.

It seems like the BCPA was created for people with money to burn.  Unfortunately, with the continual decline of Illinois, these people find they are better off in some other state, like Arizona.  Ask Carol Struck, the new interim director.
