Bloomington taxpayers:  you paid for a parking deck that opened in 2005.  It has been closed since October 2013 because it is defective.  You should rightly be outraged that YOUR money was thrown away.  If media cared about the truth, they would be asking questions.  They don’t, so I’m forced to get it.  I sent a Freedom of Information Act Request for details and the status of the parking deck – the City wants 10 days to respond.   If I get the truth I will be surprised.   The City of Bloomington threw away your money on a fire station that was never and will never be used.  Did they throw away the money spent on the parking deck too?

The only hint is in the budget for next year:

When I hear from the City, you will be the first to know.
