Impeach Renner!

A citizen sent a copy of my story on the Flex to Mayor Renner and the City Council.  He copied numerous news organizations since the PBL side is not being reported in the media

Instead of responding to the facts I wrote (directly from the PBL!), Mayor Renner decided to personally attack me – FOR THE SECOND TIME.  Note the time on the email: 23:19:47.  Again the Renner attack was late night.  Have a problem with late nights Mayor Transparency?

Mayor Renner not only failed to respond to the League’s side of the story, he didn’t even mention it.  His claims have nothing to do with the story and aren’t worthy of a response.  Renner has failed to act like a public servant twice.   This email was sent from his CITY email address.   The City Council and the City Attorney MUST hold Renner accountable.  Obviously he has stability issues.

Kevin Gerrard, the writer, included this comment with his email to Renner:

I should have retitled this email “It Takes A Blogger” because we really have one person in this city who takes the time to dig and find out the facts and the truth. We can’t rely on the local rag of a newspaper or the local radio because they except at face value everything they are told by the City Manager or the Mayor.
 
Kudos to Diane for digging this information up now lets see what kind of spin comes out of City Hall. Great job Diane!

Sorry Kevin! But, Dianne has consistently demonstrated ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE OF ETHICS or decency or understanding of logic or how to interpret evidence.
When she applied to be appointed to McLean County Auditor, she embarrassed herself in public because she didn’t know anything about government accounting standards (and she admitted this in public as she spoke to the County Board). A half hour Google search would’ve helped her!  It was actually very sad! When she filed for elective office (Auditor), her petitions were riddled with stupid errors that a child would make.
And she wanted to be the AUDITOR of a $75 million budget – again sad and pathetic! Her petitions were technically approved because the law is wise and aims toward intent but that’s absurd for someone trying to be an auditor.  NO RESPECT FOR DETAIL OR EVIDENCE!
Her posts are beyond ridiculous and show no respect for facts or decency.
SO, obviously, we disagree.
I have spent my entire life examining evidence. Dianne Benjamin has no clue what that even means!

  3. I personally hope Alderman Lower will consider a run for Mayor after the leadership he showed at last nights meeting.

Kevin Lower did a good job standing up to Renner, so did Judy Stearns. the others seems so beholding to Renner, almost like they are either afraid of him, they owe him something, or he has something on them that keeps them in line. Alderman don’t work for the Mayor, they work for the constituents and citizens of this city. It’s time to fire Hales and recall Renner if at all possible. My response to Renner’s tirade will be out shortly.
