What is Fair Share James Plath?

by:  Diane Benjamin

How many Letters to the Editor has the Pantagraph refused to print supporting the Cities 92.9 flamingo campaign?  Yesterday the Editorial staff wrote urging Bloomington to get busy fixing up downtown.  It shouldn’t be a mystery why:  They want to sell their building and there is currently no market for it.  They have approached Mayor Renner at least twice trying to get the City to buy it.  (He told me – back when he thought I liked him)  Is it difficult to believe the Pantagraph has refused to print ANY letters critical of the City of Bloomington?

The Pantagraph does print letters against the flamingos though.  A professor at IWU wrote one in today’s paper.  Gee, I wonder if he knows Professor Mayor Renner?

James Plath wants you to pay your fair share!  Fair Share, Fair Share, where have I heard that before . . . hum.

What is Fair Share James?  20%, 30%, 40% – more?  How about 100% and we just let government take care of everybody?  Funny how leftists never define what Fair Share is.  It’s almost like “Sit Down, Shut Up.  Just pay.”

More info on James:  He teaches a class called “Sitcoms and Society”.   That class will certainly provide life-skills and a clear path to a career!

James is also the past-president of the Illinois College Press Association.  http://sun.iwu.edu/~jplath/plath.html  Plath taught kids how to be journalists, but he writes a Letter to the Editor without facts.  Great journalism James.  (Note to self:  double-check all journalist who graduated form IWU)

The flamingos are free James – Cities 92.9 is paying for them to help advertise the radio station.  Since Cities 92.9 isn’t funded by the City of Bloomington like the Pantagraph and WJBC, people should check them out.  Free Market James!  Is that too difficult for you to understand?

How many other far left professors are employed by IWU?  Are you paying them to indoctrinate your kids?

  1. Journalists are no longer taught to be objective. They are taught to be advocates for the progressive causes. Many people get upset with local media because they are not objective. But ever notice that the Pantagraph and WJBC have never claimed to be “Objective.” That is because they are not objective and they are progressive advocates. Cities 92.9 is the most honest simply because they identify themselves openly as “Conservative Talk Radio.”

  2. All we need is a few more people like James weighing in on priority based budgeting and pretty soon more of us will be paying our fair share.
