The City of Bloomington owns 3 golf courses.  They like to think that golf doesn’t cost taxpayers a dime, not counting repairs to the cart path at Prairie Vista.  I remember it being around $250,000 at the last budget debate.  Repairs and maintenance somehow get left out of the conversation.  I wonder if the City will want to use part of the Brady grant for repairs?

The video below was posted by HBO Sports last July.  Maybe somebody at the City will watch at least the first 3 minutes.  Continuing to pour taxpayer dollars into a sport on the decline wastes resources.
