  1. Mitshu was good for 25-30 years, it’s quite unfortunate for all. Something else that is quite unfortunate is the seemingly total lack of a gasp on world economics that plagues most of our city council, the mayor, and especially an inept city manager and how it WILL affect
B-N. As Cat announces up to 10,000 people being terminated, SF moving out, this area is going to feel some pain. Building soccer fields and raising taxes is not going to fix our economy. Sensible cuts is what is needed as most readers of this blog understand. Stupid council,,,stupid for refusal to grasp the obvious!

  2. The increased taxes and fees will have very little effect on overall revenue because fewer people will be able to afford to spend on things other than food and utilities.

  3. For sure VW won’t be buying. Tesla I thought I heard was locating close to a lithium mine in Utah.

I wonder what became of all of those politician’s giving face time to help out. Oh, nothing in it for them.

    1. And, how’s that B/N Economic Development Council and its CEO working out?? Wonder if the “financial investment” in Kyle Hamm’s salary is worthwhile.

    2. Count Subaru out too – they are expanding their already bursting-at-the-seams Lafayette IN plant.

  4. Can you say “irony”, boys and girls? Official termination date – the Monday following Thanksgiving weekend….
