How long have I been stating that US Cellular is NOT going to renew their naming rights at the Coliseum? A year? Two? They made the announcement a long time ago!
Anyway, the Pantagraph finally got around to doing a story today. Congrats, old news is better than no news.
It looks like nobody at the Coliseum was able to land a replacement company. I wonder if they even tried.
I’ve got an idea. The current lettering can’t spell White Elephant, but it can easily spell CELL just by removing some letters.
The citizens of Bloomington have been put in debt prison by the Coliseum, so CELL seems like a good name to me! Thoughts?
Just removing some parts should cost much.
Have any other ideas for re-arranging the letters?
I really hope Renner/Hales and the Council do the next management company right this time. Screwing up again is NOT an option!

I think we rename it, “Taxpayers Hell.” It’s a great cry for help so that maybe someone will recognize this and make an offer to take it off our hands.

There is an “a” and “r” in Cellular. The “e” in Cellular could be twisted into an “o” and remove the “u” and third “l.” Actually I messed up by also using letters from the word coliseum.
