Attendance at the BCPA was dismal, but I guess that can be expected for January:
The most interesting part of the report is tax receipts – see page 19. Except for Auto Rental, all other taxes are above projections. The additional 1% Sales tax began January 1 – it’s not in these numbers.
Tax receipts have been higher than projected for the entire fiscal year, but the Council raised the Sales Tax rate anyway.
This is proof government will NEVER have enough money.
Must be from all of the tourist activity driving on Route 66 through downtown.

Just finished reading the Manager’s report and found this:
“Ann-Marie Dittmann started on January 21st as the new Assistant Performing Arts Manager for the City of Bloomington.”
